MakeUPbyKIANI Get Ready With ME

Hey Guys!  This video is my first GRWM of the New Year so I thought I would detail the application process here.  Begin the look by toning skin to remove any surface oils.  I used Revlon Skin Refinisher found in my local drug store.  Currently this is the only drugstore skincare I feature in any of my videos.
Primer:  I tend to reach for my Estee Lauder Idealist Skin Refinisher as a primer, exfoliator, and pore minimizer.  This stuff is amazing.  It has been a part of my skincare routine for years and I absolutely love how it makes my skin feel.  Remember, your makeup will eventually do what your skin is doing underneath. Keep it as smooth as possible and therefore no touch ups needed during the day.

Moisturize:  I have been using a sample of Estee Lauders moisturizer, I don't think I will be purchasing.  I like the Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Moisturizer better, seems to be somewhat more hydrating.  My skin is dry and this moisturizer makes my skin feel hydrated.

Foundation: Makeup Forever HD Foundation is my go to foundation if I want sheer buildable coverage.  I am shade N173 and two pumps gets the job done!

Concealer: MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer NW25 so far has been the best concealer ever.  My under eye area is usually puffy and I have fine lines.  I need a concealer to brighten, conceal, and stay put.  Tall order but this concealer does it all.  I keep my Realtechiques concealer brush with me just in case I need to touch up or smooth any creasing from the day’s activities.  A few pats of my brush refresh the area and removes any creasing.  I don't add more product, just pat the area appearing to crease.  I don't always set my concealer because powder can dull the area.  Remember I like brightness around my eyes.  If you feel more comfortable setting I recommend BenNye loose powder or Laura Mercier brightening Powder.

Beauty Blender:  Love the way these sponges blend products seamlessly.  I do spray my sponges with a setting spray if using a crème product.

MAC Fix Spray:  My setting spray of choice.  Smells amazing!

Brows: Anastasia of Beverly Hill Dip Brow Pomade fills my brows nicely.  The pomade goes on like a crème and dries like a powder.  It does take some getting used to.  For a better handle on product application, start by using an eyebrow pencil to create frame and roof of brow, then fill in with pomade.  Almost full proof technique!

Brow Cleanup: Motives Color Correcting Quad in Medium contains a yellow concealer I love for the highlight area of my brows and a flesh shade I use as the roof cleanup (the top).  I reach for this stuff every day.  The convenience of having both colors in one unit makes me happy.  I free hand my brows and I am usually very intense during this process.  This unit allows me the freedom to create and cleanup without reaching for multiple units and breaking my concentration.

Contour: Estee Lauder Rich Mahogany Double Wear Powder is intended as a setting powder.  I use it as a contour because the powder is so smooth and blend able.  It comes in a compact with a mirror...what’s not to love.   I apply it to contour my cheeks, nose, forehead, and under my neck.  Paired with my Sigma tapered brush, precision in application really sculpts a face with ease.

LORAC Pro To Go:  OMG I am in love with this unit!!!  The bronzer, blushes, and shadows in one unit makes my life easier.  I love throwing this in my bag and knowing I can create a nice everyday look or a sultry smoky eye with the same unit.  Must have ladies!!!

MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot:  This primer keeps my shadows from creasing and fading.  I use this color almost always because it washes out the color of my lip and allows the true hue of the shadow to be the focus.  If you have problems with slipping, fading or creasing shadows, I recommend this product.

MAC Night moth Lip Pencil:  A rich berry liner with a more interesting hue than chocolate.  It can be worn solo or with gloss.  If you love a rich deep berry/plum hue on your lips, this liner will be a must add to your collection.

Rhianna Viva Glam Lip-gloss:  The color in this gloss is the perfect wash of color.  The winter months put my lips in dyer need for hydration and this formula supplies high shine, color and moisture.  Not to mention the Rhianna Viva Glam line funding AIDS Research: the perfect lippie for a great cause. Go support!

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish (Medium/Deep):  This product is a nice setting power.  I love the glow it gives my skin.

LORAC Pro Palette:  What can I say, I waited on this palette what seems like eternity and it was worth the wait.  I love the color range, smoothness of products, and how easy the shades are to blend!  I think this palette can be used on any complexion to create a multitude of looks.  A must have for my eye shadow addicts

Lancôme Crystals: Discontinued but MAC Naked Pigment or Irredecient Lit Glitter will do.

Jordana Fabu Liner:  The most inexpensive, blackest, fast drying liner I have ever used.  For my drugstore divas, pick up this liner and enjoy the amazing wings it creates.  2.99 In my local CVS or Walgreens Pharmacy.

L’Oreal Gel Liner: I was out of my Wet and Wild Little Black Dress Gel Liner (my favorite) but the L’Oreal liner is much creamer.  If you have an issue with liners skipping this liner might do the trick.  Very easy to apply just be sure to have time for it to dry properly.

Loreal Black Lacquer Mascara:  I absolutely love this mascara.  The wand makes those bottom lashes easy to lengthen and if wearing false lashes, the color of this mascara is a nice complement.

Kardashian Lashes:  I love the Kardashian Khroma Lashes.  All of the designs are great but my favorite thing about these lashes they are reusable and the band is durable.  I finish as many looks with these lashes as possible!
