Get Ready With Me Neon Lips

Hey Guys! This get ready with me was so much fun to do.  I will have to include the bloopers in my next video because, there are always those moments!  Anyway, I knew I wanted to record a look for you all when I sat down but had no idea exactly I was going to create.  My Anastasia of Beverly Hills Lavish Palette (which I rarely pull out) was screaming pick me, pick me.  The look turned out to be a blended cut crease with layers of Sienna, Orange Soda, Pink Sapphire, and Black Diamond.  I paired the look with my new Sephora Luster Lip stain in Pink Flush (I absolutely love this color I call it my new Barbie pink and the eye liner used called Black Caviar has been listed under MakeUPbyKiani for a limited time by the maker’ Visions of Beauty.  Go to www.visionofbeautyevents.com for a 20% discount on this amazing new liner!  Anyway I hope you all enjoy this tutorial and how the look came together.  I suggest everyone try this look even if alternating different colors of inspiration.  Pay close attention to the amount of times I blend.  It really makes the look seamless.  Also, please check out my new fashion blog.  I’m going to start posting more OOTD especially as I make more appearance for MakeUPbyKiani. Go to simplykiani.blogspot.com.  The name says it all!  Thanks for watching and remember to subscribe, comment, like and share the videos for more tutorials from MakeUPbyKiani.  Until next time, Bye!

Highlighting and Contouring Featuring L A Girl Cosmetics

Hey Guys! This video is looonnnggg over do!  The brand LA Girl Cosmetics has raised the bar on inexpensive concealer.  To create this look I used a combination of different shades but at a price point of 1.99 to 2.99 per tube it's easy to get carried away. I purchased all of these in my local beauty supply store. I have listed the shades I used but again the brand carries a full range of colors designed to match everyone.  The formulation is extremely creamy but dries pretty quickly.  Be sure to set the product with your favorite loose or press powder and you are well on your way to creating something brilliant!  Continue to be fabulous my friends it's a version of you.  XOXO, Kiani

VLOG Eyebrow Art, Highlighting and Contouring Class

Hey Guys!  I can’t tell you the how much fun I had teaching my first Brow Art, Highlighting/Contouring Class a few weeks ago.  The reason I chose my first of three classes with this title is because it shows the basics of the face.  I get more questions a week on these two techniques; therefore, I wanted to address your concerns in person.  The class was limited to ten as the rest of them will be to maintain the authenticity of the message and I hope my next two will be equally as successful.  Thanks to the amazing ladies that attended and I can’t wait to see some of you for my Precision and Color class offered June 1st and June 2nd, 2014.  Again, thanks for watching and I hope to see you all really soon. Kiani

MakeUPbyKIANI Inspired by Kim Kardashian Vogue MakeUP Look

Hey Guys!  Those of you that have been following me for a while know I love a Smokey Eye.  Kim Kardashian is making waves with her appearance on the latest Vogue magazine cover.  The Smokey Eye she is wearing inspired this video.  As a fellow brown eyed girl, the layers of browns and blacks layered properly create an amazing glow to the iris itself.  As Kim, I think this look is very much the look of a modern bride, assured, edgy, soft, and feminine all at once.  Wear as I created this look with levels of browns and blacks I have created this look with blues, and plums and the outcome is equally as striking.

For booking request please email makeupbykiani@gmail.com.  Serious inquires only please!

MakeUPbyKIANI How do you wear your pop????

How Do You Wear Your Pop?
My right eye: This video details two different ways to accentuate your eyes and be on trend for spring.  I used colored glitter by to create focus under the lower lash line.  To create relative interest I used Inglot #77 Gel liner.  The lashes are dense but intense enough to mimic my lashes without mascara.  I thought this look would be cute for those of you on the go and wanting something easy and fast to create.
My left eye: Eye look #2 is my take on a modern, mode eye.  I layered MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot to prime my eye lid. Lashes were already applied before I filmed to replicate my clients that wear lash extensions.  I applied MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot to eliminate creasing and blended it in with my finger.  I grabbed my MAC 150 blending brush and began to create a smooth transition from my 35B Morphe Brushes palette. I started with a matte green blending back and forth in a consistent windshield wiper motion.  Second, I continued to intensify with a deeper shade of matte green and then a matte blue. The more matte shades applied the more intense the pigment.  With each addition of color move your brush down to create intensity in the transition area.  Note: transition shades should always be matte in texture.  This creates depth in the eye lid and saves the shimmer for areas needing to stand out!  Lastly I used the brightest blue on the palette to accent the ball of my eye.  Finalize the look with a stark application of Inglot #77 Gel liner on the lower and bottom lash line. Wing added to top and bottom.   Clean up with concealer if full concealer has been applied before eye look created. I used LA girls medium beige concealer refresh the under I area.  Enjoy!
