precision you will become. I love a bold
graphic eye too. This look is right on
trend for summer 2014. I hope you all
enjoy this tutorial and will continue to leave your request. I look forward to
creating and being inspired by you, as always, if you haven’t subscribed to my

My Top 6 Highlights Summer 2014
Hey Guys! I couldn't help myself, I had to give you guys a list of my top 6 favorite highlighters for summer 2014. Some are old some are new, but to me they will all do! For an added tip, apply your powder highlighters on top of freshly applied foundation. The dampness of the foundation creates a foiled glow to the skin and extra radiance. Don't forget to contour, blush then highlight to make your your cheek bones pop!!! I hope you find this video beneficial. Leave comments below on more products you want me to try. I might feature your comment in an
upcoming tutorial. Thanks for all your support. XOXO, Kiani

Hey Guys! My Easy

The trick, conceal, bronze, and apply a pop of color. I was in the mood to create something a

knot featured in this video is a major accomplishment, no extensions on my vacay
needed!!!! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this tutorial. Thanks so much for those that requested this

MakeUPbyKIANI Drug Store Inspired
Have
you ever gotten that gut feeling, if you went to a specific store, you would be
rewarded with some amazing finds? I get
this feeling all the time but I really like when that feeling leads me to an
amazing score! This video was inspired
by the beauty products I found in KMART a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised with the Almay
Smart Moose foundation especially. The
coverage was sheer and light but very buildable and dried fairly quickly. This find was definitely a steal, considering
it was marked down to 3.50 from 13.49!!!
To open the foundation at first I was skeptical to apply on myself, but
as a freelance artist, I definitely wasn't going to throw it away. If you watched the video you will see the
sheerness yet beautiful natural coverage this foundation applies to my
skin. Moving on to the eyes, I had been
wanting a cream eye liner to brighten my lower lash line so, yep, I purchased
one. I hope you all enjoy this tutorial
and leave your comments and request.

Summer Proof MakeUP PSS
PSS:
Summer Proof your Makeup
Prepare,
Prime, and Press
Prepare your skin for the environment by applying a
moisturizer with a SPF of 30 or more.
Select a primer designed for your skin type (oily or
dry), squeeze a dime size amount on the tips of your fingers and press the
primer into the skin your face.
Select
and Stencil
Select a longwearing waterproof foundation
(preferably liquid), pour a dime size amount to the top of a flat top kabuki
brush and stencil (light, quick, tapping motion) the foundation onto your face.
Swivel
and Set
Swivel (to swirl) your powder brush into your matte loose
or press powder, sweep the powder across your face.
After following these steps, you will have just
summer proofed your makeup!
My Products of Choice:
Moisturizers: Estee Lauder Resilience Lift
Moisturizer. It doesn't have an SPF of
30, but it does have collagen boosters which supplies my skin with protection
from premature aging and fine lines. My
foundation also has SPF protection, therefore I like this routine.
Primer: I
love, love, love Becca Ever Matte Poreless Priming Perfector Primer. It is an oil control, matte, pore minimizing
primer. It seems to evaporate on
contact. If you have problems with you
T-Zone this is the product for you!
Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is
my go to all day foundation. The
coverage is full and it withstands even my Zumba workouts! It is 39.50 and sold in department stores
worldwide, but it works!!! For a less expensive alternative try Revlon
ColorStay. For 13.00 or less it does
supply at least 8hrs of coverage. Nice
alternative.
Powder: I use MAC Mineralized Powder in Medium Deep.
I also contour, blush, and highlight my cheeks with an array of powders
therefore I am covered!
Brushes: Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki and Sigma Powder
Brush.

Highlighting and Contouring Featuring L A Girl Cosmetics
Hey Guys! This video is looonnnggg over do! The brand LA Girl Cosmetics has raised the bar on inexpensive concealer. To create this look I used a combination of different shades but at a price point of 1.99 to 2.99 per tube it's easy to get carried away. I purchased all of these in my local beauty supply store. I have listed the shades I used but again the brand carries a full range of colors designed to match everyone. The formulation is extremely creamy but dries pretty quickly. Be sure to set the product with your favorite loose or press powder and you are well on your way to creating something brilliant! Continue to be fabulous my friends it's a version of you. XOXO, Kiani

VLOG Eyebrow Art, Highlighting and Contouring Class
Hey Guys! I can’t
tell you the how much fun I had teaching my first Brow Art, Highlighting/Contouring
Class a few weeks ago. The reason I
chose my first of three classes with this title is because it shows the basics
of the face. I get more questions a week
on these two techniques; therefore, I wanted to address your concerns in
person. The class was limited to ten as
the rest of them will be to maintain the authenticity of the message and I hope
my next two will be equally as successful.
Thanks to the amazing ladies that attended and I can’t wait to see some
of you for my Precision and Color class offered June 1st and June 2nd,
2014. Again, thanks for watching and I
hope to see you all really soon. Kiani

MakeUPbyKIANI Inspired by Kim Kardashian Vogue MakeUP Look
Hey Guys! Those of you that have been following me for a while know I love a Smokey Eye. Kim Kardashian is making waves with her appearance on the latest Vogue magazine cover. The Smokey Eye she is wearing inspired this video. As a fellow brown eyed girl, the layers of browns and blacks layered properly create an amazing glow to the iris itself. As Kim, I think this look is very much the look of a modern bride, assured, edgy, soft, and feminine all at once. Wear as I created this look with levels of browns and blacks I have created this look with blues, and plums and the outcome is equally as striking.

MakeUPbyKIANI How do you wear your pop????
How Do You Wear Your Pop?
My right eye: This video details two different ways to accentuate your eyes and be on trend for spring. I used colored glitter by to create focus under the lower lash line. To create relative interest I used Inglot #77 Gel liner. The lashes are dense but intense enough to mimic my lashes without mascara. I thought this look would be cute for those of you on the go and wanting something easy and fast to create.
My left eye: Eye look #2 is my take on a modern, mode eye. I layered MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot to prime my eye lid. Lashes were already applied before I filmed to replicate my clients that wear lash extensions. I applied MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot to eliminate creasing and blended it in with my finger. I grabbed my MAC 150 blending brush and began to create a smooth transition from my 35B Morphe Brushes palette. I started with a matte green blending back and forth in a consistent windshield wiper motion. Second, I continued to intensify with a deeper shade of matte green and then a matte blue. The more matte shades applied the more intense the pigment. With each addition of color move your brush down to create intensity in the transition area. Note: transition shades should always be matte in texture. This creates depth in the eye lid and saves the shimmer for areas needing to stand out! Lastly I used the brightest blue on the palette to accent the ball of my eye. Finalize the look with a stark application of Inglot #77 Gel liner on the lower and bottom lash line. Wing added to top and bottom. Clean up with concealer if full concealer has been applied before eye look created. I used LA girls medium beige concealer refresh the under I area. Enjoy!

MakeUPbyKIANI March Favorites Spring Edition
Morphe Brushes 35 Shadow Palette (Dupe for urban Decay’s Electric Palette)
The recent leak of Urban Decay’s Electric Palette brought up
the traditional anxiety most MUA’s get when a new product launches. Will I get it before it sales out? Luckily, I remembered I purchased the 35B
Color Glam Palette from Morphe Brushes while attending the Bonner Brother’s
Midwinter Hair Show. The palette has
several shades that are “electric” in hue.
So without personally swatching the Urban Decay palette, I am inclined
to create some looks for those of us that want “a pop of color” for Spring. This palette has several yummy
transition shades just right for Spring.
There are at least 18 matte shades and the remaining 17 shadows are
shimmery or satin in texture. I can tell
by swatching these, I’m going to be in my studio for hours. My imagination is popping with possibilities
of color combos. For sure this palette
offers limitless options. The cost
during the show was amazing, $12.50 versus the standard $40 and up for a high
end brands such as Urban Decay. So
without much more thought, I’m ready to create.
Stay Tuned…
Available for 19.95 USD:
http://www.morphebrushes.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_74&product_id=647
Morphe Blushes in a few words highly
pigmented and easy to travel with. I
love having this array of colors in one unit.
It opens the door for creating on all skin types and compliments the new
Spring Trendy colors of 2014 like a dream.
The price was very reasonable, but best of all it allows people the
opportunity to add blush back into their everyday routine. I say contour, blush, and highlight!
Available for 15.95 USD at:

Inglot #77 Gel Liner: Those of you that follow me know I only like
things that work. I also hate ordering
things online but I will have to make an exception for this product. I was pleasantly surprised to find Inglot at
the Bonner Brothers International trade show in February. I had heard so many great things about it, I
was compelled to purchase two; one for me and one for my kit. After playing with this liner I have no
complaints. I love the intensity,
silkiness, wear ability, and mostly ease in application. Of all the gel liners I have used in the
past, this product has reached Holy Grail status for me.
Available for 12.00 USD:

Ella Nicole Vivid Dream Lip Gloss: OMG!!!! I love the wash of color this offers. It can be worn with or without something underneath. Looks like a watermelon in full bloom. It’s not sticky or tacky in texture. With bold eyes or the natural glow this lip gloss is oh so necessary.

MakeUPbyKIANI My Tequila Sunrise w/ Wing Eye
MAC ProLong Wear Concealer NW 25. I find this concealer to be at it's best if it is applied in stages. A gradual build of the product by tapping or beating it into previous layers allows it to adhere and dry; this minimizes creasing. Sometimes I set it with BenNye Fair Setting Power or MAC Mineralized Powder
depending on what my day is like.
MakeUp Forever HD Foundation is one of my all time favorite foundations. I am in a shade N173. I apply this foundation with a flattop kabuki brush. Using a light sweeping motion downward allows the foundation to blend nicely with my concealer and around my eye area it completely transforms my concealer application into a radiant finish. Photographs very natural but even and extremely light weight.
MAC Strut Brow Pencil: I love the tip on this applictor. It's so tiny, brush strokes are easy to build the tail, roof. and foundation of the brow. If precision is what your missing in your brow application, these brow pencils are amazing. Strut has a beautiful auburn brown tent as well...love it!
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade: I have grown to love the consistency of the product. It did take some getting use to the texture because it is slick like a wax but drys like a powder. Amazing pigment and all day wear.
Morphe Concealing Palette: Cute for a beginner to have all the colors needed in one palette, but I found the colors to work better with my finger than a brush. The warmth from fingers are needed to heat the product up and allow it to transfer. Several applications were needed which increased application time.
Morphe Brushes 35B palette: Amazing range of colors from 17 matte to 18 shimmery options. POP of color in one unit! If the combinations of yellow, pink and purple aren't your thing this palette offers an array of options. Go to www.morphebrushes.com for more details.
MAC Feline Khol Pencil: Love this liner especially to create a smoky eye. The only down fall, it has to be sharpened frequently and the only sharpener that works with it is a MAC sharpener. The others simply destroy the pencil.
Inglot #77 Gel Liner: New Holy Grail product for me! Love the intensity of color and easy of application. A little goes a long way! The intensity of this liner is essential to create a separation from lash line to lid. This keeps the look modern and fashion forward without looking clownish. Must have.
Ardell Spikey Lashes: Another new Holy Grail product! I absolutely love the band on these lashes and how individual each cluster looks. I did cut of the first and last cluster to customize, but they are my new all time favorite lashes!
Ella Nicole Vivid Dream Gloss: This color of gloss has stolen my heart. I think it is the perfect compliment to all the new Spring eye looks. Usually my go to gloss is a shade of nude but this color reminds me of candy on my lips. The texture is not sticky or thick, can be worn alone or as a topper. It can be purchased by contacting: she is the owner of the brand.
Until next time, have fun creating every version of you! XOXO, Kiani

MakeUPbyKIANI Get Ready With ME
Hey Guys! This video is my first GRWM of the New Year so I thought I would detail the application process here. Begin the look by toning skin to remove any surface oils. I used Revlon Skin Refinisher found in my local drug store. Currently this is the only drugstore skincare I feature in any of my videos.
Primer:
I tend to reach for my Estee Lauder Idealist Skin Refinisher as a primer,
exfoliator, and pore minimizer. This stuff is amazing. It has been
a part of my skincare routine for years and I absolutely love how it makes my
skin feel. Remember, your makeup will eventually do what your skin is
doing underneath. Keep it as smooth as possible and therefore no touch ups
needed during the day.
Moisturize:
I have been using a sample of Estee Lauders moisturizer, I don't think I will
be purchasing. I like the Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Moisturizer
better, seems to be somewhat more hydrating. My skin is dry and this
moisturizer makes my skin feel hydrated.
Foundation:
Makeup Forever HD Foundation is my go to foundation if I want sheer buildable
coverage. I am shade N173 and two pumps gets the job done!
Concealer:
MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer NW25 so far has been the best concealer ever.
My under eye area is usually puffy and I have fine lines. I need a
concealer to brighten, conceal, and stay put. Tall order but this
concealer does it all. I keep my Realtechiques concealer brush with me
just in case I need to touch up or smooth any creasing from the day’s
activities. A few pats of my brush refresh the area and removes any
creasing. I don't add more product, just pat the area appearing to
crease. I don't always set my concealer because powder can dull the
area. Remember I like brightness around my eyes. If you feel more
comfortable setting I recommend BenNye loose powder or Laura Mercier
brightening Powder.
Beauty
Blender: Love the way these sponges
blend products seamlessly. I do spray my
sponges with a setting spray if using a crème product.
MAC
Fix Spray: My setting spray of
choice. Smells amazing!
Brows:
Anastasia of Beverly Hill Dip Brow Pomade fills my brows nicely. The
pomade goes on like a crème and dries like a powder. It does take some
getting used to. For a better handle on
product application, start by using an eyebrow pencil to create frame and roof
of brow, then fill in with pomade.
Almost full proof technique!
Brow
Cleanup: Motives Color Correcting Quad in Medium contains a yellow concealer I
love for the highlight area of my brows and a flesh shade I use as the roof
cleanup (the top). I reach for this stuff every day. The
convenience of having both colors in one unit makes me happy. I free hand
my brows and I am usually very intense during this process. This unit
allows me the freedom to create and cleanup without reaching for multiple units
and breaking my concentration.
Contour:
Estee Lauder Rich Mahogany Double Wear Powder is intended as a setting
powder. I use it as a contour because the powder is so smooth and blend
able. It comes in a compact with a mirror...what’s not to
love. I apply it to contour my cheeks, nose, forehead, and under my
neck. Paired with my Sigma tapered brush, precision in application really
sculpts a face with ease.
LORAC
Pro To Go: OMG I am in love with this
unit!!! The bronzer, blushes, and
shadows in one unit makes my life easier.
I love throwing this in my bag and knowing I can create a nice everyday
look or a sultry smoky eye with the same unit.
Must have ladies!!!
MAC
Soft Ochre Paint Pot: This primer keeps
my shadows from creasing and fading. I
use this color almost always because it washes out the color of my lip and
allows the true hue of the shadow to be the focus. If you have problems with slipping, fading or
creasing shadows, I recommend this product.
MAC
Night moth Lip Pencil: A rich berry
liner with a more interesting hue than chocolate. It can be worn solo or with gloss. If you love a rich deep berry/plum hue on
your lips, this liner will be a must add to your collection.
Rhianna
Viva Glam Lip-gloss: The color in this
gloss is the perfect wash of color. The
winter months put my lips in dyer need for hydration and this formula supplies
high shine, color and moisture. Not to
mention the Rhianna Viva Glam line funding AIDS Research: the perfect lippie
for a great cause. Go support!
MAC
Mineralized Skin Finish (Medium/Deep):
This product is a nice setting power.
I love the glow it gives my skin.
LORAC
Pro Palette: What can I say, I waited on
this palette what seems like eternity and it was worth the wait. I love the color range, smoothness of
products, and how easy the shades are to blend!
I think this palette can be used on any complexion to create a multitude
of looks. A must have for my eye shadow

Lancôme
Crystals: Discontinued but MAC Naked Pigment or Irredecient Lit Glitter will
do.
Jordana
Fabu Liner: The most inexpensive,
blackest, fast drying liner I have ever used.
For my drugstore divas, pick up this liner and enjoy the amazing wings
it creates. 2.99 In my local CVS or
Walgreens Pharmacy.
L’Oreal
Gel Liner: I was out of my Wet and Wild Little Black Dress Gel Liner (my
favorite) but the L’Oreal liner is much creamer. If you have an issue with liners skipping
this liner might do the trick. Very easy
to apply just be sure to have time for it to dry properly.
Loreal
Black Lacquer Mascara: I absolutely love
this mascara. The wand makes those
bottom lashes easy to lengthen and if wearing false lashes, the color of this
mascara is a nice complement.
Kardashian
Lashes: I love the Kardashian Khroma
Lashes. All of the designs are great but
my favorite thing about these lashes they are reusable and the band is
durable. I finish as many looks with
these lashes as possible!

MakeUPbyKIANI Green with Edgy Cut Crease
Hey Guys! This video was inspired by texture. Recently I have seen some amazing eye makeup done by Beatfacehoney that looked almost 3-D. I wanted to see if I could recreate in a more wearable state. This is what I came up with. I finally purchase the Urban Decay Naked Basic palette and I was determined to create something spectacular with the bareness of this palette. I applied layers of creams, beige's, and taupe shades with my Naked Basics palette and then created movement with my Wet and Wild Comfort Zone palette (the grey and green). The color seemed to go flat so I added my Lit Glitter and...there you have it. I hope this tutorial beneficial. Lastly, the lippie shade on the thumbnail isn't what I wear during the recording of the video (obviously) because I wanted to keep the focus on technique. Thanks to rugs101 on IG for helping me title this video! Enough said...Enjoy and thanks for watching! Don't forget to like, subscribe and share! XOXO, Kiani
